Tengu Press is a kitchen-table top operation, and we originally started the magazine and web site more out of a need to try to produce a quality martial arts publication for classical arts than for anything else. We're not in it for the money, although being able to make the production pay for itself would be nice, one day. If you have any problems with ordering or other transactions with us, please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to make it right. Like we say, we want to spread information, and maybe, just maybe, make pocket change in the meantime, but our main goal is quality and spreading information, not taking your hard-earned money and scamming anyone. |
First off, if you want to order any books, try jumping to other links. Koryu Books has a site where you can order their wonderful books, or order our subscription via credit cards. Then, if you want to get a book written by some of our writers or subjects or people that we discuss, such as Dave Lowry, Donn F. Draeger, etc. try our sponsor in the Associates Program, Amazon.com:

US subscriptions: $36 for six issues
Canadian subs: $40 for six issues
Other countries: $50 for six issues
Subscriptions are cheaper than buying them off the stand (at $6.50 each, plus tax), plus you help us by supporting us directly. I apologize, but I have to charge subscribers in other countries more because postage is outrageous, and even at $50, I actually barely break even on each foreign subscription. Subscriptions will begin with our current issue #10 unless you state otherwise. We try to be a quarterly, but have been running late. In any case, if you order six issues, you will get six issues.
To order, please download and print our order form. It is in PDF, so you will need to have a PDF reader to download and print it out. Most up-to-date web browsers can download and/or view PDFs.
If you want to order via charge card, you can do so by going to the KoryuBooks Web site. They are the sole online distributors of Furyu the Budo Journal and also publish a series of outstanding books on classical martial arts.

We ain't taking 'em back! Them's used stuff! We reserve the right to make final decisions on all refunds, replacements, etc. per our discretion. In other words, we try to be as fair as possible to our customers, but we have to protect ourselves with all the legal mumbo jumbo above just in case.
